Hope is a cool water in a stream
I am parched
Trapped underneath responsibility
And regret
My heart is torn and bitterness is easier now
Gratitude so quickly rent apart and
Spoiled
Reminisce on innocent ignorance knowing better
Licentious largesse discoloured veins and obese ineptitude
