Day 68 of the 365 day poem challenge.
Word of the day Corpulent "(of a person) fat."
Corpulent
Cockroaches crawl on grease
Slicked with human bile
Sores burn and blister and bubble
The waddling quake of flesh
The couch eternal
In still dim light
The vastness of solitude
The decrepitude
Puddles brown and green and yellow
Eyes lost and red
Veins burgeoning bulging
When will it shift
Shall it sit and rest and stare
Out from its high judges chair
With its insectile eyes within
A mammoth skull
Sit and collapse inside of this
Brown-lit suburban doom
Fat
Grotesque
Hideous
Bulbous
Rotund
Moribund.
